Time is Short

Time is short.

From what I read in the Bible, this is what I think is going to happen before Damascus is destroyed and Ezekiel 38-39 takes place.

I think the Rapture and the Day of the Lord will be as soon as this year on Rosh Hashanah, the blowing of the trumpets that calls the current believers home and ushers in the end time events to be faced by those left on the earth.

I think Jeremiah 25, and Rev. 18 show that “The Day of the Lord” is going to be a day of disaster that will also be when true Christians are “Caught Away” like a mother cat who grabs her kitten”, snatched away from danger.

I know God is longsuffering and wishes any who will, to wake up and call on Him for salvation and to hold onto their new found faith till Jesus sets foot on the Mount of Olives. Revelation 3: 9-11 “I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”

I think The Day of the Lord will be a successful sneak attack that God allows to come to punish evil, from Russia, Osama, N. Korea and Iran that is so sudden and total that “we don’t know where it comes from” and it totally devastates America and causes all survivors to return to their native land.

I think it will be the time leading up to the power of the anti-christ in Europe and the Middle East that will lead to the 7 year accord with Israel.

I think it will be a time when God returns the focus of world events back to the Middle East to fulfill all He has written in His Word, the Bible.

I think Ezekiel 37 shows that the “whole house of Israel” the surviving Jews from the whole world will return to Israel at that time.

I think, then, Zechariah 12 will be fulfilled in Glory. All Jews, who place their trust in the Living God will know and trust Him from then to eternity.

Jeremiah 25:32-38

“This is what the LORD Almighty says:
"Look! Disaster is spreading
from nation to nation;
a mighty storm is rising
from the ends of the earth."

“At that time those slain by the LORD will be everywhere—from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned or gathered up or buried, but will be like refuse lying on the ground.”

“Weep and wail, you shepherds;
roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock.
For your time to be slaughtered has come;
you will fall and be shattered like fine pottery.

The shepherds will have nowhere to flee,
the leaders of the flock no place to escape.

Hear the cry of the shepherds,
the wailing of the leaders of the flock,
for the LORD is destroying their pasture.
The peaceful meadows will be laid waste
because of the fierce anger of the LORD.

Like a lion he will leave his lair,
and their land will become desolate
because of the sword of the oppressor
and because of the LORD's fierce anger.”

Isaiah 13:13-15

“ Therefore I will make the heavens tremble;
and the earth will shake from its place
at the wrath of the LORD Almighty,
in the day of his burning anger.

Like a hunted gazelle,
like sheep without a shepherd,
each will return to his own people,
each will flee to his native land.

Whoever is captured will be thrust through;
all who are caught will fall by the sword.”

Ezekiel 37:11-14

“ Then he said to me: "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, 'Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.' Therefore prophesy and say to them: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: O my people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, my people, will know that I am the LORD, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the LORD have spoken, and I have done it, declares the LORD.' "

Zechariah 12:1-5

“This is the word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: "I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness," declares the LORD. "I will keep a watchful eye over the house of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, 'The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God.'”
