Now there were some present at that time who told Jesus about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices.
Jesus answered, "Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans because they suffered this way?
I tell you, no!
But unless you repent, you too will all perish.
Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them—do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem?
I tell you, no!
But unless you repent, you too will all perish."
Then he told this parable:
"A man had a fig tree, planted in his vineyard, and he went to look for fruit on it, but did not find any.
So he said to the man who took care of the vineyard,
'For three years now I've been coming to look for fruit on this fig tree and haven't found any. Cut it down! Why should it use up the soil?'
" 'Sir,' the man replied, 'leave it alone for one more year, and I'll dig around it and fertilize it.
If it bears fruit next year, fine! If not, then cut it down.' "

This scripture comes from Luke 13:1-9.
I believe we need to read, learn and obey every word that is taught in the Bible from our hearts, minds and souls so that we can stand and face God thru Jesus when God calls: TIME.
There are Three Steps to becoming a Christian:
1)
Repentance is the first step.
It means to admit we are sinners.
None of us has ever lived up to the 10 commandments except Jesus.
2)
The nexte step is to believe.
Believe that Jesus is who the Bible teaches He is: The Son of God and My Savior.
3)
The third step is to Confess. Tell others of your faith, and your hope in the Bible. It is the only hope.
2.5) The Resurrection. That Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas, then to the twelve.
Yes indeed, believe all that the Bible teaches about Jesus, His life, His Teachings, His death on the cross and His Resurrection.
