Exodus 4:22-23
Then say to Pharaoh,
'This is what the LORD says:
Israel is my firstborn son,
and I told you, "Let my son go, so he may worship me."
But you refused to let him go; so I will kill your firstborn son.' "

He must threaten Pharaoh with the death of the first-born of Egypt, in case of a refusal: I will slay thy son, even thy firstborn. As men deal with God's people, let them expect to be themselves dealt with; with the froward he will wrestle.
