Dear Geneva, I join you in prayer for Jerusalem. How lovely it would be if we could visit there this year.
Dear Lord, please send us to Israel to visit your Beautiful Land, and encourage the chosen people, enrich our own faith by seeing the land of Zion, and Praising Your Name in Israel. As your word says in chapter 62 of Isaiah, we will give ourselves no rest till she shines like the dawn and is the praise of the earth.
But even if we cannot go there physically, we are there Spiritually as Mother Jerusalem lives in our heart. And we know that some day we will live in the New Jerusalem, because Your word says we will.
In Jesus Name we pray.

P.S. Geneva, these are some of my favorite verses to pray for Jerusalem Praise God for His Word and His promises.
Zech 12:3 "On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves."
Zech 12:10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
Galatians 4:26 "But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother."
Isaiah 62
Zion's New Name
1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent,
for Jerusalem's sake I will not remain quiet,
till her righteousness shines out like the dawn,
her salvation like a blazing torch.
2 The nations will see your righteousness,
and all kings your glory;
you will be called by a new name
that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD's hand,
a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
4 No longer will they call you Deserted,
or name your land Desolate.
But you will be called Hephzibah,
and your land Beulah ;
for the LORD will take delight in you,
and your land will be married.
5 As a young man marries a maiden,
so will your sons marry you;
as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride,
so will your God rejoice over you.
6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD,
give yourselves no rest,
7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.
8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand
and by his mighty arm:
"Never again will I give your grain
as food for your enemies,
and never again will foreigners drink the new wine
for which you have toiled;
9 but those who harvest it will eat it
and praise the LORD,
and those who gather the grapes will drink it
in the courts of my sanctuary."
10 Pass through, pass through the gates!
Prepare the way for the people.
Build up, build up the highway!
Remove the stones.
Raise a banner for the nations.
11 The LORD has made proclamation
to the ends of the earth:
"Say to the Daughter of Zion,
'See, your Savior comes!
See, his reward is with him,
and his recompense accompanies him.' "
12 They will be called the Holy People,
the Redeemed of the LORD;
and you will be called Sought After,
the City No Longer Deserted.
Geneva wrote; Pastor Chuck is taking a group (which filled up right off the bat) in April. He is taking back ups, Chuck Missler, Greg Lorie, Open Doors,So. West Radio and more are all going to be there April/May for the 60th year celebration of the Jews coming back to their land (May 14, 1948) so this is the year. I would give anything to go if my leg,ancle, BODY would hold up to all the walking. I know it would because God would be pleased if we were in HIS land for this. Let's both pray on it.
Yes, I can't believe what God has in mind using Bush to do what he is doing. And, can you imagine what will happen in Texas when he TRIES to give his Ranch back to Mexico? What a riot that will cause---worse than in Israel. It will give the mexican's a real reason to be proud of taking over Calif, etc. Anbd, I guess that is why Bush has not gone along with the fence at the border.
Love ya and we are at the desert--it is beautiful but cold.

Marcie wrote; Yes Geneva, I am very interested in the articles that interest you. I am more inspired to pray for Israel when I see the things that concern them. I am disappointed in the statements of President Bush too. I wish I could go to Israel this year.
There is a trip planned by many who love and stand with Israel. I pray I could go and stand with Israel too.
Love and Blessings,
Marcie
